Bio

Retired from IBM, Pennant Systems Company, and Northside Realty, originally from Broome County, New York, now living in Hall County, Ga. I have been in Georgia and working on my genealogy for 40 years.

Please use the "Suggest Edit" process on each memorial for all edits. You may contact me at my email address listed above for any questions. All edits, requests and transfers must be made according to FindAGrave guidelines. Please review the guidelines before sending obituaries. Suggested obituaries that include survivors will be ignored. Any communications must include a memorial number. Please do not ask for a transfer just because someone is in your family tree. FindAGrave is a website to register grave locations not to build family trees. The parent company Ancestry.com is a great website to build family trees.

Currently photographing headstones in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and adding people and photos to the database. Almost all of my memorials are created after visiting the cemetery, photographing all the headstones and uploading the information and photos. I use an iPhone camera which adds the GPS location to each photo. This shows exactly where I was standing when I took the photo. Just click on "Show Map" on each memorial. At this point I have "found", photographed and have a file of the photos of over 348,000 graves and I have photographed over 1580 cemeteries in six states. I respond to photo requests. Please help me by getting the plot and grave location and adding it to the memorial before submitting a request.

APRIL 30, 2021 FIND A GRAVE TEAM

Find a Grave® Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Theron Rogers our featured volunteer of the month for April, 2021! We'd like to recognize his extraordinary efforts in documenting graves- all the while enjoying the ride out on his motorcycles. He's photographed, along with adding GPS locations, most of the cemeteries in Northeast Georgia and also cemeteries from a couple of counties in South Carolina. He has also traveled to Pennsylvania and upstate New York to photograph, as that is where his family is from.
