Bio

Geneology research and the work that goes with it keeps me quite busy in my spare time. I started out years ago walking old cemeteries looking for the graves of my great, great grandparents.

About 18 years ago, I surprised my Dad with a "cemetery trip" for Father's Day, to show him the monument and graves of his great grandparents. I still keep walking the cemeteries, looking for past relatives, beautiful markers, heartfelt sentiments...

Any burial record that I added with an obituary, is related to my "family" or someone that I knew or added to help others with family history. Those with just dates and pictures were recorded during one of my cemetery walks... Because the gravestone looked old, the lighting of the sun was just right, I liked the name...

My daughter and my grandchildren now sometimes join me on my walks. I am hoping to train a new generation or two to appreciate and respect the cemeteries, and the history that lies within them.

I hope the memorials and pictures are helpful to loved ones. If the information is incorrect, please let me know, or if you want the memorial removed, please email me.
