Hi -Growing up, I always went to the cemeteries in the towns we visited on vacation, not because I actually knew anyone buried there, but to wander through the rows of tombstones, read the inscriptions, and think about who those people were & the lives they might have led. I am still doing this. It is apparently a trait I inherited from my mother - everyone else in the family just thinks we're morbid. It's also an excellent way to pass time without having to justify your presence - few people are willing to disturb someone who appears to be meditating in a cemetery.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE LEFT FLOWERS FOR MY LOVED ONES - IT IS DEEPLY APPRECIATED. I try to return all those visits. I occasionally leave a message with the flowers; if you would prefer that I not do so, please just let me know. Again, thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to leave flowers and/or a message for my loved ones. Warm regards & God Bless you all - Deb

1/24/12. Hi and Happy New Year to everyone. I haven't been on FAG for so long but you all have been in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my beautiful Louise (her medical conditions plus old-age) and my pretty LucyCat (general old-age) and those losses were difficult, but a new kitten was sent to me (Sami) and she is settling in well. My mother remains at home in fairly good health with a couple of hospital visits but we will be blessed to celebrate her 85th Birthday this week. I had spine surgery last autumn (2 days -- 14 hours) but I am recovering well. I have to -- I have 2 ruptured disks in my neck which need to be replaced sometime. I hope to be able to be on here at least a little -- I have missed you. May the Lord bless you all -- Deb
