My name is Debbie, and I am a genealogy researcher, mom of 3, wife of 37 years, pet owner to 5 cats and 1 dog , gardener & crafter, and am a teacher to 3-5 year olds for that mighty paycheck. When I am not looking for my own family's records, I am out exploring small cemeteries and taking photos for those requesting cemetery photos close to me. During the summers I like to venture out and seek out stones and learn of the history that made me who I am. My favorite so far is Parke County, Indiana. I walked in the courthouse to find directions to a cemetery, and the clerk was a distant cousin!!! I also love to research Labette County KS for family tidbits. Family Surnames: DANIEL, POELMA, WATSON, HUFFMAN, SUMPTER, SUMTER, COOPER, COPPINGER, SAYLOR,BOWMAN among others.

When weather is bad, or I don't want to leave home, I like to work on crafts, mainly sewing, crochet, or counted cross stitch. My current project is to the left of my bio.
