A ninth generation American, I've always found cemeteries interesting, peaceful and relaxing. Please notify me if I've made a mistake on any memorials I post. No one is perfect, least of all me. I will not respond to rude and disrespectful demands. If I have a photo of a headstone that is better than the one already posted, I will post my photo. I do not post to "build my numbers". I will not revisit cemeteries and retake photos that have my shadow on them. I am a Find a Grave volunteer because I enjoy visiting cemeteries recording the history of those who have gone before us so as to be of a benefit of those who cannot visit the cemeteries in person to pay their respects. Be nice.
Charlie Tipton Hi Ron! Well, long story here but I was hoping you can shed some light on it for us :) My husbands grandmother was Edna Tipton Keever from Unicoi, TN...her mother was Roxie Tipton (or Shucraft or Cox or Ferguson) also from the area but both left and passed in Winston-Salem, NC. Anyway, we know NOTHING about the Tiptons except that she may have been married to Charlie Tipton and had Edna and Carl. There was another "brother" raised with them Martin Wilson Tipton but we have a notion that Martin Wilson Jr. was her grandson and not a Tipton. Anyway, just trying to find our Tipton connection whether Charlie or another.
How I came to you? My mother-in-law gave us a name 20 years ago of Michael Tipton from Kingsport, TN and Charlotte, NC. I've tried contacting the one here on Findagrave but no response. But found that his parents were Ronald Wayne Tipton and Maxie Trula Dodson. Then I searched Charlie's name and saw that you Ronald Walter Tipton had posted a flower to his memorial. Now just wondering if we're all related and if you can help us in any way?
Thanks bunches and I look forward to hearing from you!!!

You added a photo, so didn't know if you were interested or not. I added obit and article. I contacted the owner to move the tombstones to the top. If after a week or so, if it isn't done, you could delete your photos and re-add them, which would give them top billing.
RE: Emma Morgan #86749471 Thanks, Ronald. The edit requests I submitted to another contributor, who created Emma's parents' memorials, should be approved within the next couple weeks, and then the details adjustments/improvements I mentioned to you about, such as the mother's correct death year, etc., will show in their memorials. Best regards, Dave
RE: Emma Ellis Hadfield #20840967 firstname.lastname@example.org Ruth Reid is a lady in the UK who has me looking for stuff on the Ellis line, starting with Jarvis & Mary Ellis, both buried in East Brandywine. Emma was a daughter who married your Hadfield. Fell free to contact her if you want to compare notes, albeit maybe a different branch than you are interested in.
RE: Emma Ellis Hadfield #20840967 Thanks, looks good. You had me worried there as you usually reply quickly. Are you related to this family? I'm working with a relative in the UK, Ruth Reid (email@example.com) . I started with Jarvis Ellis (1892) and Mary Jackson Ellis (1907) and worked my way through the children.
