My 3rd GGrandfather , Isaac Jones and family, were one of the earliest settlers in Story Co., Iowa, coming in 1853. My family is from Ames and Boone. I was born in Boone in 1950. I have been researching my family Genealogy since 1984, the old fashioned way. I find it very rewarding. I am a Family History Consultant as one of my callings in my Church, Mormon Faith. I live in Saratoga Springs, New York and work in Albany, N.Y.. I hope to visit Iowa soon. Iowa is a great place to live.
