NOTE requests for transfer will only be considered if requested from the memorial with a note stating your relationship.

Any requests for transfers will be reviewed & considered. Please request transfers from the memorial, not under messages. Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships.

MANY thanks for flowers left for my darling fury friends. It is truly appreciated.......After a very unpleasant encounter on here & repeated rudeness from another contributor, I promise to be kinder. There is no reason to talk down to anyone because of errors made on memorials. We are all humans and none of us are perfect. Is it so wrong to say please & thank you when asking for changes or suggestions under edits? PLEASE state exactly how someone is related when requesting a transfer. Please don't ask for a transfer if you can't even add a flower to the memorial. The other day I transferred two memorials to someone who had tons to add. When viewed there is nothing added, not even a sad little flower for these folks. NOTE if you submit edits & they cannot be verified , they will be declined.
Please send some documentation with edit, if is a book, family bible etc. Thank you. Please send sources or requests thru suggestions tab under edits.
The extra memorials I manage were mostly given to me from a fellow graver who entrusted them to my care as he scales back & transferred them to me. His contributions to this site are invaluable, 150,000 plus photos.

I began the journey to find my Irish roots only to find I was not so irish. Than in 2020 I found I was 44% Scotch.......In July of 2016 I stood in the Cramer King Cemetery in Somerset Co. Pa. in the middle of a field once owned by my ancestors. It was a defining moment in a journey in honor of my grandmother Katie Viola Grindle. My husband who at first unwillingly, has found his roots in a tiny island Krk and can be seen willingly hunting that illusive stone in the cemetery.

Thank you to all the Find A Grave folks who documented my family. You will find some very wonderful, caring people working on Find A Grave. People have dedicated hours of their time walking cemeteries to do this and should be respected for their efforts. They usually do not know these folks so PLEASE be respectful. PLEASE respect the effort they have put into this site & be courteous.

*NOTE* PLEASE no sensitive information on MEMORIALS-PLEASE graphic death certificates or graphic news articles, graphic
obituaries don't belong on here & I respectfully ask you do not post them....PLEASE remember please & thank you go a long way when communicating with others. A little kindness can change someone's whole day.
