Please be aware that a person can have more than one memorial. Please RESEARCH before requesting a merge (Duplicate). These may not be a duplicate. Some may be a cenotaph or a group memorial.

Also, when messaging me, please reference memorial number so I can locate correct memorial, it makes it a lot easier. If possible when providing photos of headstones, please try to include one of the whole marker/monument and another closer to the engraving.

Find A Grave is a great resource and has a lot of wonderful historical information. My goal is to be able to locate and provide as much information on each of my Ghent family members that I can find. I have found more than one set of Ghent's in our area and I am trying to see if they connect, so linking them has been a great tool. I try to keep and eye out for information on deaths, marriages, births, etc...on other local citizens as well and add those in hopes to help others with their genealogy endeavors.
I have received a lot of help from other members of Find A Grave and it's very much appreciated.
