Having my Dad commit suicide when I was 5 and being re-connected with his side has launched an immense genealogical obsession, this is one of my ways of saying Thank You to all who have helped me. It's a way of "Paying it Forward."

Transfers; If you are family and would like to manage your family's memorial, just send me your request.

To my fellow cemetery searchers; we transcribe entire cemeteries, I mean no disrespect when you find a person listed that is still alive, no one knows this except the immediate family.

Obituaries; I can, upon request, look up old obituaries, I have access to the Norfolk Daily News, Omaha World Herald (maybe in the future once again) and Battle Creek Enterprise going back to the early 1900s and in some cases the late 1800s. Newer ones in the area can usually be found on the Daily News' website.

I connected via internet with 2 people living in a town called Norfolk. A town my mom was raised. They are long lost relation. I lost track of any family when my mom died as I was very young. I have yearned for information as I have my own kids that have asked questions I couldn't answer. I attended a reunion. WOW! Great people. I kept saying to myself, "Mom should be here not me". Last night I recieved a pic of my Grandfather that passed 80+ years ago. probably the only one in existance. The stories, pictures we have shared is crazy. I was too young to ask or listen to stories. Don't make the same mistake. Listen ask.. Get everything you can. Don't wait. A locked door has been openend. "Thank You" doesn't come close. I hope everyone has a Gene and Roberta Hutson in their family. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from my family to yours.

Dear Find-a-Grave friends and family,

My sincerest apologies in responding, I lost my dear wife in January 2015 and it has been a struggle getting up and moving again. It was sudden and tragic and has left my kids and I in a tail spin. I promise I will get to all requests, I just ask for a little patience.
