Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave's mission is 'graves registration'.

Please specify your relationship when requesting transfers. I am no longer transfering outside the Findagrave guidelines.

Due to the growing popularity of the website I have been getting multiple transfer requests for the same memorial from several different contributors. Trying to determine who should get the memorial is becoming difficult for me.

Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer.

I am always happy to make corrections and add links when asked.

RE: C. and Marguerite Palmer
I don't copy the obits, I just make reference to the paper, date and page. You can copy and paste it in the bio. If one wants the full info they can go on Osborne Public Library website and obtain it. Thanks for updating your memorials. It makes a more complete record which is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I saw that you added this person to the site. He is my great grandfather. My grandmother was wondering two things. One, are you related to him? And two, do you by chance know what the middle initial M stands for? I dont know if you acquired that at the funeral place or if you just know by chance but it is something my grandma has always wondered. Thanks for you time by the way.

Re: Minnie M. Cates Car (1877-1976)
Hi Judy,

Thank you for all the work you do on this site.

Found a mistake concerning Minnie M. Cates Carr.

Her maiden name is CALES, not Cates. She is the spouse of George Albine Carr (1870-1943).

I am tracing the Cales over the U.S. as the immigrate from one state to the other. Not easy to do.

Thank you for your help.

Is it possible Jesse's wife is buried next to him?, that no one has created a memorial for his wife Jennie (1900-1956) and taken a photo?
