Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave's mission is 'graves registration'.

Please specify your relationship when requesting transfers. I am no longer transfering outside the Findagrave guidelines.

Due to the growing popularity of the website I have been getting multiple transfer requests for the same memorial from several different contributors. Trying to determine who should get the memorial is becoming difficult for me.

Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer.

I am always happy to make corrections and add links when asked.

#103742143 Seth's 2 great grandfather. Can you transfer the management over to us since Seth is a direct link to John Mattatall? We have been working on his line for some time. Thank you so much for your consideration in this matter.

Hi Judy. James and Nora Spellen are my great great-grandparents. It would be appreciated if I could manage their memorials. Let me know if this is possible. Thank you!

RE: Samuel & Mary Laughner
I tell my wife I'm going grave digging. With her cancer, I don't get out as much as I'd like. Thanks for the additional information. It's always nice to hear of the relationships. It really brings these folks to life for me and makes the effort effortless and joyful.

Max Davis born 1925, brother of Morris Preston Davis

I may be related to this family
I see both parents Lewis and Florence buried at Bushong
I see their son Morris Preston dying in WWII and buried in Bushong.

Would you know if the son Max born about 1925 is still alive, and have a way for me to contact him or his children?

Thanks in advance

RE: Samuel & Mary Laughner
There's a good story about those two. I was almost finished with section 12 and was finding requests right and left. I was so close to finishing the section when it started to rain. As I'm driving out of the cemetery I looked over and saw these two graves. Well I just couldn't go home without taking the photographs, so I waited for almost half an hour waiting for it to stop raining. Finally I gave up and covered my camera as best I could and took the photos. That's why they are so wet.

Dearest Judy: Again, thank you for your kindness and generosity in transferring my aunt's and step-grandma's pages over to me. You're the best, Judy, and I hope you don't mind that I've added you to my friends list. Be safe and well, dear lady.
