Thank you so much for adding my great uncle's grave to findagrave.

You show Murrell Blue, "156051586" as being buried in the Porter Cemetery, Franklin Township, Greene County. May I ask how you determined he is buried there? The family was always told he was buried in Wayne Township, in an old cemetery near the Lantz cemetery. Do you have a cemetery record you would be willing to share.

He was my grandfather's (Jacob Owen Blue 1894-1977) younger brother. I noticed you have no date of birth. He was born in March of 1914 and was only 3 weeks old when he died of pneumonia.

Barbara Jayne Tennant

I noticed the memorials that you have for Barbara Jayne Tennant and her husband, John Eldon Schmulbach, by any chance are you related? Barbara's grandmother, Caddie E. Crick Miller (mother of Minnie Verne Miller Tennant) and my Great Grandmother, Louisa Mary Hicks Bowland, were first cousins. Caddie's father, James Thomas Crick, and Louisa's mother, Emma Sophia Crick, were siblings who immigrated to the United States from England. I have a great deal of information on the Crick family, and even a picture I believe to be of James, Emma, their siblings and mother and I am trying to find and connect with any descendants of Caddie that there may be. If you or anyone you know is related or would be interested, I'd be happy to share! Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

RE: Martha Jane Bland Cross
Here's another one for you. Ida Church Bissett was not William Church's biological daughter.

I see you are a Hostutler researcher. I'm not related but there are so many connections that I've done a fair amount of research on them. Is there anything that I might be able to help you with?

RE: Martha Jane Bland Cross
Yes. I believe Martha was born out of wedlock. I often wonder if that had anything to do with David & Elizabeth's decision to return to Wetzel Co. Widowers were often less picky about their brides but it's not uncommon to see any children from previous relationships left with the grandparents. I've been researching for almost 30 years. I would spend entire days @ the Wetzel Co Courthouse & library.
