Thank you! Thank you so much for posting the picture of my Father's grave (Vance Fluharty.) He was out of my life very early on and this is probably the only picture I'll ever have of him (or, as close as I can get anyway.) :-) I appreciate your taking time to do this! Bonnie Konz
Today was the first time I have looked at your Find A Grave entries and was a little surprised at some of our coincidences. My GGGF Conrad Felten immigrated on JUl 20, 1846 from Hessen Darmstadt, Germany He was born approx 1816. He arrived in New York and moved to Cumberland, MD for a few years, and then on to Somerset County, PA where he died. Yours is the first fellow Hessen Darm tie I have found. I wonder if your George (1816) could be a cousin or even a brother? Do you know which ship or date of arrival for Your George? I have not found which town in Hessen-Darmstadt my ancestors are from. How about you? Would your ancestors be Lutherans or Catholics?
New Somerset Cem East Liverpool Ohio I have found an obituary that lists this cemetery as place of interment. I know there are 2 other cemeteries by this name but only one in Columbiana Co. Ohio.....possible more burials there????By the way I believe we are related. I am Harry E Thomas's grandaughter - brother to Lucy Thomas Felton. Any help on this cemetery is appreciated.Gail
northview vs greenlawn I noticed you posted the greenlawn entrance for the northview pic's on your listings. Greenlawn is the oldest flat bronze marker cemetery in the US. Northview is the granit markers. Just thought you might want to change it for those who save it wrong.
