Hi Linda,

My name is, Ruby McCall Shearburn and I'm searching genealogy for my family the Groves of Huntingdon County, Pa. Laura Grove, my great aunt, married Samuel D Smith and had three children, of which, Edith is one.(Also, Raymond G and Walter A) We've lost all connection with the Smith family, could you help me? Laura and her sister, Mary A Grove married Jacob Smith-Smiths of Centre County, Pa. Laura and Mary are sisters to my grandmother, Bessie(Rebecca) Grove McCall.

Thanks for any help.

RE: Leta and Ray Tate
Hi Linda,

Nice to hear of your relation (your husband's) to my great aunt and uncle Leta and Charles Tate. I would love to hear from someone who might be able to connect me with the grandkids of Leta Burkett Tate. I did hear a while back from an "Aunt Betty" who was on charles' side of the family. I don't have her info any longer. She said she had red hair, and one of Leta's sons who had had a stroke, recognized her while he was in the hospital b/c of her hair. Not sure if that is the same person you were referring to.
My address is 208 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue,OH 44811, my email is
Thanks so much!

Hello Linda,

I found my great aunt under your find a grave and am curious as to how you obtained their photo? I have that photo. I would like to get in touch with her grandsons (my third cousins) for information and friendship. Just wondering if you know this family or you just photographed the grave site.
Thank you,
Joan Burkett Knight

Hi I am a very distant relative of this lady and I just found your memorial page. You have her BD as Aug. 5, 1919 at top but in paragraph below you have Aug. 4, 1919. Do you know which is correct/ Thanks,
Also thanks for the wonderful work you do for findagrave.
