I have been researching my families since 2000 which consist primarily of (paternal) Fortney, Groves & Summers and (maternal) Armstrong, Boylen & Fawley. Of course, this includes all the allied lines.|
The majority of memorials I have created are of my relatives. However, I have created some memorials for unrelated folks whose headstones I just happened to photograph while visiting a particular cemetery. If I have created a memorial that you'd like transferred to you, please send a note via normal channels under the 'Edit' tab of the memorial with a comment stating your relationship to that person.
Headstone Photos: permission is hereby given to relatives to use my photos for their personal use. You can right click on a photo and select to Save to your computer.
If you are or think you are related to me, please contact me by email and/or visit my website.

There are two cemeteries (that I know of) in Fultonham. One is just Fultonham, which I believe includes the old Methodist Church. The other is Uniontown Cemetery, which is on the west side of town, where the old Baptist church used to be. The church is now up by the Fultonham cemetery. The interesting thing about the shape of Uniontown cemetery is that there are two distinct sections. My best guess is that the North section is Uniontown and the south is the Baptist is the southern section. Sorry that is only a guess. I will check some of my records, and if the weather ever breaks here I will try to get down there and see if there are any clues.

Yes, I believe the they are one in the same cemetery. There is a Baptist Church next to Fultonham cemetery. I don't know of 2 cemeteries there, just one.

YAY!! You found it. Thank you so much. We need to be careful to confirm the correct cemetery listing when posting to Sycamore. There has obviously been some confusion on these two cemeteries.
Thanks so much. This is a great help.

|Judi and Marie||George Riley Fortney|
While searching for my FORTNEY line, I found that George Riley Fortney has two memorials:
Memorial# 58290476 and Memorial# 88880103
Do you know if the Fortney Cemetery, , Harrison, West Virginia, and the IOOF Cemetery, Enterprise, Harrison, West Virginia are the same cemetery.
