I WILL NOT BE ON LINE FOR A GOOD WHILE AND THEN, WILL HAVE ONLY LIMITED ACCESS TO THE NET. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR THE FLOWERS/TOKENS YOU HAVE LEFT FOR MY FAMILY AND I'LL TRY DOING THE SAME THE BEST I CAN.
I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas.
I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley ,and have three children, Tim, Todd & Kari.
My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
I'm willing to take photos for anyone in and around the Tyler, Texas area. I would like to thank those that have taken photos for me. I've "met" some great friends that way.
Please email me with any additions and/or corrections and I'll gladly update.
Please note: Many thanks to Carolina Angel for sponsoring my wife's memorial page.
A very special thank you to my friend Diane Miller for sponsoring my great grandparents, Joseph & Margaret (Scott) Green and Albert Henry Knox. Please visit Diane's family.

His marker was buried under a few inches of dirt and grass. I had to uncover it with a shovel.

I sent another message to the contributor of
Daniels wrong wife, Mary Van (Steinburgh) Shaver, Memorial# 53317292.
this is the message:
Your memorial of Mary Van (Steinburgh) Shaver, Memorial# 53317292 is linked to husband Daniel Shaver, Memorial# 53317222.
Daniel Shaver's only wife was Margaret Ann Dillabaugh, marriage Oct 29, 1829 in Matilda Twp, Dundas Co, Ontario, Canada.
Daniel was not married to Mary Van Steinburgh at all. The contributor to Daniel Shaver, Memorial# 53317222 isn't able to un-link them.
Please un-link them.
Thank you very much.

I had a great morning at the cemetery. It is small, the weather was warm, and I was able to cover most of it in a couple of hours while I waited for my daughter in law
Happy I can help! :)

Thank you. Now it shows that she had a family and the Barlows were quite a prominent family at that. It really bothers me when one name is all alone on these memorials, especially a mother who is not linked to her children at all.
I appreciate all the work you do creating these memorials!

Your welcome, Hartley. Glad to help.
I just started to take on this cemetery. I first tackled the requests where the requestor has called the office and got the location info in advanced and posted it in the request.
The nice lady in the office has to look each one up and give me a map to locate them. There are over 9,000 interments. This is probably why my husband and I are the only ones at this time filling requests.
