HAVEN'T BEEN WORKING ON HERE BECAUSE OF PERSONAL ISSUES. WILL TRY TO FIX ALL REQUEST ASAP. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.|
**I mostly volunteer to take pictures from the Wetzel County and Harrison County WV areas. I am willing to share and exchange information. The only thing I ask is to use me as a source for what information you get from me.
**I am a descendant of Edgells, Swigers, Talkingtons, Prices, Amos, Flowers, Starkeys, Levecks, Walls, Jones, McIntires, Barkers, Harberts, Moores, Martins, Bennetts and so on. So for most WV people, I'm sure our families cross somewhere.
**Findagrave isn't a competition for who puts the memorial on here first. This is for people who don't have access to their family graves and of course they are for the people whom they are created for. I am a pretty easy person to get along with. All people have to do is ask me nicely and I will transfer or correct my memorials. I have no problem deleting a memorial when it is brought to my attention that I have created a duplicate one.
**I do my best to make sure the information I use is correct, but I am far from being perfect. Please feel free to send me corrections when found. I will do my best to get them corrected asap. I will not delete any duplicates that are under the wrong cemetery unless the user fixes their mistakes or unless I'm proven to be wrong.
**I believe that an obituary is a public record and by saying that I have the right to use them on the memorials I create. If a family member didn't want their information out there they probably wouldn't have put the obituary in the newspaper. Anyone can google a person's name and if an obituary exists you will likely find it because it's public. I want people to know who the memorials are created for so they can be appreciated. I want no one forgotten. If I wasn't for our ancestors we wouldn't be here and I appreciate that. If a family member of any of the memorials I have created would contact me and ask me to remove or edited them I will do so without any question because people do have right to their privacy, but until then I'm using obituaries or any other public record put on the internet. It's my right and by them putting it out there it's giving people like me permission to use it. People need to understand that once the information is out there they have no control of its use.

Wasn't the maiden name of the wife or Alexander Quinn, Curtis? See the obituary of her son Alexander.

Hi, Joseph (Joby) William Norris was my 2nd Great-Grandfather. His son was William Ellsworth Norris and his Grandaughter (my paternal Grandmother) was Fannie Leota Norris Phillips. I would really appreciate it if you would transfer his memorial to me. Thanks for creating his and other family member's memorials. Greg

Hi, I'm the great-Grandson of William Norris. My paternal Grandma was Fannie Leota Norris Phillips. If you want to transfer his memorial to me it would make me very happy. Thanks, Greg

|Rose D||Cemeteries Near Brown, WV|
I am researching my great grandmothers grandfather Ludwell Shrader. Records indicate that he was buried at or near Brown, WV. We visited the IOOF Cemetery and a Cemetery near Wallace. We did not find his grave at either Cemetery. There were several Shraders buried at the IOOF cemetery but we found no markers for Ludwell . We also checked a very small Cemetery on the left outside of Lumberport. Are there any other cemeteries in the Brown area of Harrison country? Thank You, Rose D.

I looked at Myrtle's page and she does look Indian. I put Emma's picture on Emma's page so you could see the same Indian appearance. On my message area I talked to a lady this week - her relative John Whaley, my relative Emma Whaley, and your relative Charles Washington Whaley were siblings. Charles Whaley is your Myrtle's Dad. You may have more Indian in you than you thought! It started on your Whaley side and any other info you have about it occurring on your Owens side too maybe. Let me know if you find out if that tribe you mentioned is Whaley instead of from the Owens one day when you have a chance. My Mom just asked my Grandmother again and she still says Emma was a full blooded Indian.

Hello, I had been told growing up that Emma A Whaley was full American Indian and her first husband Absolum met her at the trading post, After seeing Emma's page with her parents and siblings pictures / death cert. it would appear there is no American Indian. Have you ever heard about that heritage being in that family? I do have a picture of Emma and the funny thing is that she does look Indian! Emma and Absolum are my Great Great Grandparents. I have a picture of Emma with Artonna(Tony) the daughter Emma had with second husband Clem Bennett.
Thanks - Julie
( My Mom told me my Grandma who is still alive always enjoyed visiting with Artonna)

The headstone date is very hard to read but it sure doesn't make any sense when I see the date of children. Hope you can help me clarify this.
