Being retired and not too busy during the winter months, I am pleased to volunteer to take photos in the Kittanning, Pa. area cemeteries, weather permitting, and hopefully help others with their research. |
During the remainder of the year, keeping up with the lawn work, fly fishing and fly tying keep me well occupied, but I will try to take request photos as time allows.
Qualified transfers and corrections upon request.
If you would like me to transfer a memorial to you I would be glad to do so as long as they are not part of my or my wife's family. Please state your relationship to the deceased as required by the FAG transfer protocol.
Please feel free to use any of the pictures I have posted for your family genealogy. You may not use them for any commercial purpose without my express permission.

Just an FYI, didn't find Orpheus' burial location ...yet...however found where another on Orlando Bryant Purinton is buried in Oak Grove cemetery, Branch county, Michigan. see memorial 160867112. same cemetery where his brother David Bernard Purinton is buried and other family members. just passing on info.
Hello Ralph, I am not related however have been working on 'reuniting' the Hanshaw family and am searching for burial location of Thomas Lagee Purinton's wife Matilda 'Tillie' Hanshaw who I believe died in 1880 Preston WV. Thomas and John Randall's father Orpheus Purinton also died in Preston County & is likely also same cemetery. I am inquiring if you might have any information you could share or burial list for Damon Cemetery perhaps that might show them there. Thanks for any help.

Good evening Ralph, thank you for telling me about your great-grandson's connection to Nicholas. At the time I cut those obits out of the Leader Times I didn't know why I was doing it. That was a long time before I even got a computer, then to find them again recently and check out Find A Grave on the first try and have it make a family connection out of the clear blue sky to another genealogist. I'm going to check the rest of them out and see if I can fill in some blanks for someone else.
Thank you, Eleanor
Hi Ralph, I tried sending you a transfer request via email at yahoo but got a notice you dont have one there.
Is there another way to contact you?

Hi Ralph! Again, many thanks for transferring my uncle Dowd to me and for all the hard work you've out into creating these memorial pages!
From your attempt in 2012, a long overdue thank you for trying to find her gravestone.

Could you take a new picture?
Her husband has passed away now and was in the Navy. I imagine the tombstone has been corrected.

Thank you so much, Ralph, for the transfer! And I appreciate all the selfless work you do. It means so much to find these families of my 2G Grandfather, and to link them. The Salisbury's married to my great grandfather's daughter and her children, has been a wonderful find! Thank you, again!!!
