Sarah Tygard
Thank you for taking a photograph and posting of Sarah Tygard. Her husband was Rev. William Tygard, who graduated from William & Mary College, as did his Father before him, and his son, Rev. John R Tygard. The entire family was active in the Underground Railroad and moved from the WV side to PA side to continue their work. -Lyn

RE: Old Blacksville Cem.
The cemetery is on the PA side. It is on the way to the New Blacksville Cemetery, heading east on the right side of the road. Coming north from Blacksville on PA218, after crossing the PA line, you make the first possible right turn about 2/10 of a mile or so north of the line. Follow that road around and the cemetery is on the right about 2/10 of a mile or so up.
