I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas.
I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley ,and have three children, Tim, Todd & Kari.
My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
I'm willing to take photos for anyone in and around the Tyler, Texas area. I would like to thank those that have taken photos for me. I've "met" some great friends that way.
Please email me with any additions and/or corrections and I'll gladly update.
Please note: Many thanks to Carolina Angel for sponsoring my wife's memorial page.
A very special thank you to my friend Diane Miller for sponsoring my great grandparents, Joseph & Margaret (Scott) Green and Albert Henry Knox. Please visit Diane's family.

I am very happy that you are the one that put Gary's site up. Like you noted, he was a tremendous findagrave asset. He was always very helpful with things when I first got on findagrave. The tokens, all just reciprocation, Olin. Sure miss my old stompin' grounds.

Will you be taking most of Gary Wills memorials at Rose Hill in Tyler? I was afraid he had passed away as I could not get any response regarding changes or transfers.
I thank you from my heart for the visit and the memory of my father's Angel Day. It means a lot to me.
Also to the memory of the days of remembrance of my grandmother Emilie, G-grandmother Hulda and G-grandfather Albert I thank you very much.
I wish you a wonderful weekend and send you many greetings from Berlin. Hugs, Monika

I have the Hartley record that has his picture in the front! I thought you would like it.
|Bruce Genewich||Hi Olin|
Went to cold Springs today. Kicked butt. Visited Shara.

Yes you may use the pictures on your family tree. I also have many other pictures of her children on their memorial pages. My Great Great Grandmother was Clara Fetherngill Howland. Her sisters Anna and Vide never married. Roy Fetherngill was a diplomat to the Phillipines. I have seen Fetherngill spelled all different ways!
|Christina York-Rehn||Mary Hartley Fetherngill|
My Great Great Great Grandmother is Mary Hartley Fetherngill. We are distant cousins through the Hartley's. I have been updating the Hartley and Hoult records on Find-A-Grave. I have a copy of the Hoult family record from 1907 and the Hartley record from the descendants of Fannie and Joseph Hartley.

Please attach the photo to memorial #130922585 and delete the memorial that you created. Thank you so much for taking the pic.

I didn't know Janet though. Claudia came across some of my research at The Filson Club on the Hillerichs, and we've been corresponding off and on now for some years. I'm curious as to who your family is in Evergreen Cemetery. I have a lot of extended relatives there and elsewhere in Northern Kentucky.
