I have been interested in genology since 1979. We, my husband and I enjoy it. I thank everyone on find a grave for their efforts and the work they do to help others.
Thanks to my husband, Dan & his friend, Dean, who go to cemeteries that are hard to get to and take pictures for me to add to memorials. I have taken a lot of them myself it is a joint effort.
I hope thru the pictures and Memorials that we are helping someone make their connections.

If I have a memorial and you are a relative feel free to go to edit and request a transfer. If they are not in our families I will be glad to transfer to you. I love it when they are personalized.

WE FEEL THE NEED TO MAKE A STATEMENT TO OTHER FAG MEMBERS. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF EVERYONE LOOSING LOVED ONES. WE HAVE NOTICED THAT FAG CONTRIBUTORS FIND OUT THAT SOMEONE PASSED AWAY AND IMMEDIATELY POST IT ON FIND A GRAVE, BEFORE IT HAS COME OUT IN THE NEWSPAPER AND TWICE THAT I AM AWARE OF BEFORE THE ENTIRE FAMILY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE DEATH.
HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF IT WAS A RELATIVE OF YOURS.

PLEASE PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS. FIND A GRAVE IS NOT A CONTEST AS TO WHO HAS THE MOST MEMORIALS. IT IS TO HONOR THE PERSON WHO HAS PASSED AWAY AND HELP PEOPLE LOCATE THEIR RELATIVES AND LOVED ONES GRAVE. I PERSONALLY WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR CONSIDERATION OF EVERYONE. THANK YOU.
Barbara & Dan.

Lena Christman - not a relative of mine. I took pics of all of the stones in this cemetery and are putting them on findagrave.

Thanks! I'll add the picture soon.

Lena E. Christman
I found the burial of Lena E. Christman (123060428).

She is buried at Calais cemetery, Monroe county, Ohio. I have a pic of her stone, a bench.

I don't know how to change the burial so this is represented. I can send you the pic of the stone or add it after you get her burial place changed.

Thanks,
Shirley Harmon

There is nothing wrong with a cenotaph memorial. There are several of them here in Oklahoma and Kansas. Families who lost a loved one overseas in the military frequently install a gravestone in their local cemetery to honor a fallen soldier who is buried overseas. There are several cenotaph memorials in local Oklahoma cemeteries for loved ones buried in Oklahoma City. The families wanted to honor them in their hometown where the rest of their family is buried even though their bodies are actually interred in Rose Hill or Fairlawn.

There is a memorial #71559554 for Mary Cheuvront at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma. This memorial has her obituary. You may want to add that to the memorial #74689453 or combine the two memorials. She is apparently buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Barbara, I am working on our Lattea family and I see over and over all you've done for this family on findagrave. Thank you very much.
There is an error on this one for little Larry Lynn Lowther.
Find A Grave Memorial# 89435593

I know that the West Virginia Death Index says he was born May 25, but that is wrong.

West Virginia, Deaths Index, 1853-1973
Name: Larry Lynn Lowther
Birth Date: 2 May 1952 ----------- ERROR, SAYS MARCH ON CERTIFICATE
Birth Place: West Virginia
Death Date: 25 May 1952
Death Place: Clarksburg, Harrison, West Virginia
Burial Date: 26 May 1952
Cemetery Name: Troy
Death Age: 2 months 23 days

The link below is to the death certificate. It shows born March 2. He could not have been born May 2 and died May 25 at 2 months and 28 days.

Lemuel Snider
Hello Barbara,

First, let me thank you for the wonderful things you do for families.

I believe the death date for Lemuel C Snider buried in Childers Cemetery , located in New Milton, Doddridge Co.,West Virginia is wrong. Lemuel was a Union Soldier in the civil War and lived to be mustered out 1n 1865. I have many copies of the actual civil war documents. He couldn't have died in 1860.

What is strange, however, is that he has never shown uo on any cencus reports, marriages or anything since that date.

The cemetery is correct.... many, many Sniders are up there, including Lemuel's parents.

My question is are you certain that is the death date on the headstone?

Thank you in advance for any additional information you might have.

Best Regards,

Kathleen Snider

Always a pleasure to see your name
Barbara, Traced a gentleman that had ties to a Collins that's attached to my 2X great grand. It's deeply appreciated to see someone as yourself that has honored their memorial with a picture for future generations. As always great work and thanks always for your efforts. Take care, Mark
