Hello to all, I have always liked walking through cemeteries marveling at how old some of the tombstones were.

My mother and I were the keepers of the family history. Mom passed away in 2008. Since her death, I have been trying to update the family history book and take pictures of the family tombstones so they won't be forgotten.

And then I came across findagrave and I got hooked.

It saddens me to see tombstones in disrepair, neglected and forgotten. It is awful when someone dies and there isn't anybody left to care. How many people are going to slip into
oblivion because their tombstone didn't last another winter?

When I put pictures on findagrave; if the wording on that tombstone disentegrates, then there will be a picture of that stone so maybe someone searching their ancestors will see the picture and care. Those who have gone before us deserve recognition.

If you have any corrections or additions to any memorial I have put on or wish a transfer, use the edit tab on the memorial page. Any emails sent directly to me will be considered spam if it does not say find a grave in the subject line. If you wonder why your email is not answered, it was probably considered spam. I will only do additions, corrections,or transfers when the edit tab is used on the memorial page.

Because obituaries are copyrighted, I will not put them onto memorials. Please don't ask.

If you want a transfer of a relative it must be within the guidelines of findagrave.com.
Please have the courtesy to give your contributor number on your request.
