"It is hard when looking at the pasts of other people to understand the fine points of their lives. It is difficult to know the exact shadings of dates which were never written down and to know the intricacies of events which we have not lived through ourselves, but only viewed from the distances of time and space.”

"No Great Mischief” ©1999 by Alistair MacLeod, 1st American Edition 2000, W.W. Norton & Company Ltd.

11/7/2018: Polite correspondense and edit suggestions will be met with a kind and cooperative response as soon as possible and if possible at all. Edit suggestions are only suggestions until factual proof is provided. Find A Grave requires "source documentation", and so do I. I like clicking the ACCEPT button but, respectfully, it's not my responsibility to research and prove a suggestion edit. Please use the tools Find A Grave provides to promote your requests. Also, provide precise text of an inscription, which can easily be cut and pasted. In other words, you do the typing, I'll do the pasting.

Without "source documentation" management transfer requests received will be submitted to Find A Grave for verification in keeping with Find A Grave guidelines.

NO SNIPING ALLOWED! Superior attitudes and rude and unnecessary judgmental criticisms about the quality of the COLLABORATIVE efforts of CONTRIBUTORS will likely result in a delayed desirable outcome. Repeat offenses of such nature will be reported to the site administrator.

If Find A Grave does not meet perfectionistic expectations, perhaps a refreshed understanding of what Find A Grave is, it's history, and it's goal would be helpful. About Find A Grave : https://www.findagrave.com/about

Find A Grave is a great RESOURCE for genealogists, but it is NOT a "genealogy" website. The location of many, many graves would still be unknown were it not for the efforts of ALL VOLUNTEER contributors, who bring value to each memorial, regardless of how complete or incomplete some might appear. Remember, it is FREE resource. BE NICE.
