Bio

Since I was a young girl I had a desire to know about my ancestors. I feel blessed to have known two great grandmothers, my grandparents and many other family relatives ~ many stories of which have been shared. However, it wasn't until ten years ago that my "desire" became a "passion". My daughter had a school project in which she needed to write about an ancestor who immigrated to America. She chose her great, great grandmother, Louise Mondl, and her journey from the Czech Republic to New York. At this point it became evident to me that I needed to research and preserve my family roots for not only my children, and today's generation, but those to come.

Through research I have learned so much about my ancestors ~ it is not just names and dates written on paper or chiseled in stone, but who they were, where and how they lived and the love and hardships they endured. I have, through Find-A-Grave, made new family connections and decided to add some of my family.

Researching: Spellman/Mullen/Ford (Ireland/USA); Dorling (Germany/USA) Mondl (Bavaria/CZ/USA); Haley/Hudson (PA/NJ); Horn/Horne (PA); Farrier/Ferrier (Ireland/USA); McCartney (DE/PA); Musgrove/Hibberd/Horn (PA); Bonsall (England/USA); Meyer/Joerg/ Bellmund/ Baxmann (Germany/USA); Bucher (Switz/USA; Baltes Germany/PA); McLaughlin (Ireland, NJ); Reilly/Riley (Ireland, PA)

To end... I simply would like to say "to those who came before… you are remembered and loved".
