Ever since I was little I have been interested in my family heritage. I have always loved visiting and walking cemeteries. Reading the inscriptions and seeing how long they have lasted always amazed me. It always makes me sad to see graves that are defaced and vandalized. When photographing graves, I always treat each with respect, saying a prayer before leaving and even sometimes leaving a flower or two. Genealogy is so fascinating! You never know what you will find, or where it will take you. I consider it an adventure!
