I am originally from Northwestern Ohio, and am now a resident of Virginia. I have two beautiful children and two beautiful granddaughters.
Genealogy became a passion of mine after finding my older sister's (Patricia Ann Johnson) grave. It had been a mystery for 56 years, as the exact location of where she was buried. After researching and many, many phone calls and inquries, I found her. I did it for my Mother who had never found peace even up to her dying day of where her daughter was buried. After finding her, my father kept his promise, and purchased a head stone for his step daughter Patrica Ann. I really have to believe GOD opened the curtain for a brief moment to let my mother see it.
I was truly blessed to have such a strong, faithful, brilliant, amazing, and most of all, LOVING mother, who was beautiful inside and out. God is good!
Find A Grave is such an amazing site that allows it's users to visit and learn about their family and friends. I live miles away from where my mother is buried, but I can visit her, here on this site anytime I like, and it is such a comfort.
I encourage everyone to leave their legacy behind on this site for future generations to see and learn from, as it truly is a gift.
