I have lived in Southern California nearly all my life and am a retired high school librarian. I have always enjoyed visiting old cemeteries. My family is originally from Ohio and my husband's family came from Minnesota. I became interested in Find-A-Grave a couple of years ago when to my surprise I found my grandmother's name. Once I discovered how easy it was to navigate through the website I was hooked. Many of the gravestones that I have posted are either my relatives or my husband's. This is a great way to memorialize someone and gives us amateur genealogists a way to create a record. I hope to continue adding names and perhaps my postings will help someone find the name of one of their ancestors posted here.
