A heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to my and my mother's memorials on Findagrave, but please respect the time of contributors. Nobody should be expected to make Findagrave a full time job.

I have recently transferred a large number of memorials to Findagrave in the hopes that family members (and not collectors) will find and manage them.

Most are from the midwest and east coast states dating to the 1800s or earlier, but others are from elsewhere. If you find a family memorial that I or my mother (id Meges) added, please suggest an edit, and the automated system will generally ask if you would like to manage it.

PLEASE NOTE I am not able to respond to texts, Facebook messages or others sent to email. I use a secondary email account for Findagrave that I only check when time permits.

Please note, I have transferred some memorials to interested researchers who post photos or messages. Please transfer to Findageave at account 8 if you received one you do not wish to manage.

REQUESTS TO ADD OBITUARIES:
Obits under copyright should be summarized or will not be posted. In most cases, there is a 72-year or longer time period. Please do not send work transcribed by others.

DOWNLOADING POLICY:
I share tombstone photos freely, but only if appropriate attribution is added. You may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit.

(Suggest: Findagrave tombstone photo taken by Mary Harrell-Sesniak [date].) Under no circumstances should they be added to other sites (such as Ancestry) and shared publicly as if they are your own.

This permission does not apply to family documents from my personal archives. According to correspondence from the U.S. Copyright office, scanned images and photographs, are protected items attributable only to the person who created them, even if the item is no longer under copyright. If you have access to original materials, please make your own copies.

Thank you.
