My family's roots are in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. My father's father's side of the family have been in the Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia since the early 1800's; my father's mother's family came over from Ireland in the 1850's and 1860's and settled in Ohio. My father was born in West Virginia, but the family came to California in 1930. I was born in California and which is where I still live. My mother's mother's family came from Sicily in the first decade of the 1900's; my mother's father's family has roots in the same places in Ohio that my father's family did.
