When I was 1 month old my brother died of leukemia at age 11. He almost died at 7 from being hit by a car. When I was 12 my brother's wife lost a baby that was named after my other brother that died of leukemia. When I was 14 my 23 year old brother who lost his baby killed himself. When I was 18 my mother who was 60 died very suddenly right in front of my eyes. I was alone with her at the time. It still freaks me out to think about it. One month later my father tried to kill himself, but survived. He died at age 73 of hardening of the arteries.

I grew up visiting the cemetery where my 11 year old brother is buried. I have been fascinated by them ever since. The history, the beauty, the stories of people buried there. I find great peace in visiting cemeteries.
