Bio

I love Genealogy. It has been so rewarding researching my ancestors and finding out all about them. I just found this Web Site and I have been wondering for so long why there wasn't something like this for us researchers before now. It certainly makes it easier to find people.
Now about me: I am a Native Texan and am involved in many organizations with initials: DAR, B.S.A., A.I.S.A. O.E.S., L.O.S, S.O.O.B,and some without initials: Scottish Rite Ladies Aux.and Optimist International. I love doing most crafts, photography and my passion is genealogy.

I am researching the surnames on my Dad's family of: Cherry, Anderson, Adair, Bass, White, Murphy, Moore, Henderson, Greer, Love, Boyd, Brumley, McKay, McKinley, Key, and Sharrock,
And on my mother's side: Brackeen, Littleton, Brown, Gray,Green, Montgomery, Barrett and Hancock.

and on my husband's family: Merk, Dodson, Morrison, Gillock, Gilmore, Nail, Harkins, LeFlore and Folsom.
And family connections of my children: Thomas, Cudd and Johnson.

I am retired now and plan to do more time at the cemeteries looking for gravesites and taking pictures. All of these are my passion and what a joy to find I can now put them all together and to use for myself and any others wanting some help. I encourage everyone to submit their families gravesites to this website. It does help so much when genealogists are researching a name.

Please, DO NOT use e-mails and public messages to request transfers, corrections, links, and/or additions. They DON'T contain the necessary information I need and will be IGNORED and/or DELETED.

If you have additional information, corrections, transfer requests, and/or links, please click the EDIT tab which is at the upper right of each memorial. Select the first bulleted item (SAC) and follow the directions.

Transfer requests should only be for DIRECT relatives within FOUR generations. This would be your spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When requesting a transfer, please state your relationship to the individual.

Any NON-DIRECT relatives (aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc) ARE NOT REQUIRED to be transferred. For these extended family members, you can create a Virtual Ccemetery and keep track of them there.

If I created a memorial for your loved one and you would like to have it transferred to you, please let me know. If you are an IMMEDIATE (within 4 four generations) member of that family, I will be happy to transfer it to you, if it is not in one of my family lines. If I make a memorial and transfer it to you, do not delete it and start over with one of your own. If you do, it will be reported to Find A Grave. If you notice duplicates that I have done, please let me know and I will deal with them. If I place a photo on your loved one's MEMORIAL page and you do not want it on there, please feel free to contact me and I will remove it. I never want to intrude or offend, so please let me know, if I do.

PLEASE do not put obits or documents in the Virtual Flower Section on any of my memorials. They should be in the obit section. I will be happy to add any of those. Send those to me by using the edit tab at the right of the memorials.
