Bio

I grew up in Liberty Township near Scotland, Arkansas. My parents were Elvin Warner Lynch and Maye Stroud Lynch. I was their youngest child. The other children are: Rupert Lee (1911-1988), Eathel Maye(1914-1915),Alton Ray(1916-1999), Charles Leslie(1919-1942), Doyle Dennis(1927-1975)and Audie James(1925-).

After raising their children on the Lynch Farm near Old Liberty, they moved to Morrilton, Arkansas in 1948 and I went away to college, Arkansas State Teachers College (now University of Central Arkansas), Conway, Arkansas. After college, I taught briefly at Morrilton High School, but was called to serve during the Korean War. After spending four years on active duty in the Navy, I returned to Arkansas and started my career with The Travelers Insurance Company. I was with that company for 38 years in various states before being assigned to their Home Office in Hartford, Connecticut. I married Anne Josselyn while living in Denver, Colorado and we have three children. Anne died on April 16, 2007. I retired from Travelers in 1994 and continue to live in Connecticut.
