My interest in genealogy started when I was young and found a folder my dad had created with notes on many generations of his family. What started with those pages of notes and a tin type of his grandfather has turned into a journey that has now been ongoing for over 30 years. I believe I have visited every graveyard/cemetery within a 40 mile radius of where I live and have helped hundreds get photographs of tombstones they might not otherwise have. When ever I am able to take a trip away from home I make time to visit an old cemetery. When in England several years ago I even got the owner of the bed and breakfast where I was staying to drive along and help me look for tombstones. It was a great experience and hope to do it again one day.

And remember this: When chemists die, they barium.
