Cemeteries are my passion! My husband and I are active with the Alabama Cemetery Preservation Association. We're caretakers for GRAYSON pioneer cemetery (1807) here in Madison Co AL. We are working with other family members to preserve and protect the site.

I act within my community to raise awareness about protection of cemeteries and their importance to our heritage. The people in these cemeteries had the RIGHT to the land in which they are buried (and are still using) and bulldozing or destroying the cemeteries is WRONG.

So I stand up for respecting burial places and those who were here before. FIND A GRAVE helps preserve the memories and the history.
