Bio

I started genealogy research around 1979 from the curiousity that people always said, "kills the cat." My search began when snail mail and spending days at the archives were the methods of finding your treasure. Many people have helped me and I have made wonderful friends through my journey, some kin and some not. I try to pass that kindness to others traveling along the journey.

I noticed someone entered some information on our family cemetery, The Parrish/Parish Cemetery at Mousetail, Perry County Tennessee. I have photos and more names to add to that list. Just give me a little time to dig the information out of the few dozen totes of research.

My father surprised me when he informed me he and my Uncle Clyde would be buried here in Chester County. I ask why he decided against the family cemetery and he replied, "Because the old generation is gone and the new will forget the cemetery is there." It broke my heart because their parents and other siblings are in Mousetail. So this is for my wonderful Daddy so the Parrish Cemetery will never be forgotten. I love and miss you. For Raymond Douglas Parrish, my father.
