Bio

I was born and live in western New York State. I have a passion and interest in cemeteries. This hobby that some might find unusual is otherwise known as Grave Chasing. I do have a strong interest in the living, as well, and have attended over 500-concerts, plays, lectures, and live theatrical performances in the last 35 years. My areas of interest in "grave chasing" center around popular culture—specifically the areas of music, film, art, and true crime. I've visited the graves of such famous (and infamous) individuals as Maxwell Anderson, Susan B. Anthony, Lucille Ball, Lizzie Borden, Chef Boyardee, Louise Brooks, Truman Capote, Thomas Cottonaro (Oz munchkin), Hart Crane (cenotaph),Joan Crawford, Divine, Patty Donahue, Frederick Douglass, Peter Duel, Thomas Eakins, George Eastman, Totie Fields,Stephen Foster, Benjamin Franklin, Alan Freed, President James Garfield, Judy Garland, Errol Garner, Frank Gorshin, Glenn Gould, Corey Haim, Henry John Heinz, Gregory Hines, Sara Hinson, Tim Horton, Rick James, Helen Keller, President John F. Kennedy,Victor Kugler, Jayne Mansfield, Billy Mays, Marilyn Monroe, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Benjamin Orr, Kristen Pfaff, Edgar Allan Poe, John D. Rockefeller, Mr.(Fred) Rogers, Betsy Ross, Lillian Russell, Rod Serling, Sam Sheppard, Bessie Smith, Dr. Bob Smith, Joey Stefano (unmarked),Ed Sullivan,Tammi Terrell, Harry K. Thaw, William Warfield, Andy Warhol, August Wilson, President Woodrow Wilson, and players in the Cleveland Torso Killer case (Edward Andrassy, Florence Pollilo, Elliot Ness), Francis Tumelty (Jack the Ripper suspect), Johnstown Flood victims, Kent State Massacre victims(Jeffrey Miller and Allison Krause), and victims and survivors of the sinking of the Titanic (Edward and Ethel Beane, Edward Austin Kent, and May Elizabeth Howard).
