[Hi,apologies to everyone who has asked for information. My mom has been ill since New Year's eve. She began re-hab mid-January. She now is in physical therapy for twelve weeks. I will try to keep her memorials as up to date as possible until she can return to computer. She says thank you for all who have sent her prayers and get well wishes. I do read your comments to her and thank those like Mr. Harrington for sending her corrections and updates. Mom hopes you all will understand.] |

|L Oppy Lyons||Get Well|
I didn't realize you were sick. Thank your daughter for her postings. I hope you are doing well and have a good recovery. I just sent the Oppy information to your email address.
|L Oppy Lyons||RE: JESSE EDWARDS, JR.|
I didn't even notice that it was your Mom who had done the posting. Tell her thanks for fixing it. I was recently in NY and got a copy of the file that was at a NYC library. It had the name of the county in VA where Christopher Oppy lived after NJ. It was Hampshire Co. Tell her I will email copies to her. I have her email address. Thanks again, Linda

|K. Bowen||Looking for Rosannah Bowen Indian document|
Hello! Good luck in getting well soon!
I saw your posting for Mary Cathren "Mary Kay" Varvel Hanes. I am VERY interested in the information and documentation about Rosannah A. Bowen, Mary's mother. I would like to have a copy of the information at the Iroquois County Genealogical Society, especially the Indian information. Rosannah is the brother of Adam Bowen, who is my ggg-grandfather. Their parents have been a mystery and I am hoping the information about Rosannah will help solve the mystery. I live close to Iroquois County and visited the society, trying to find the document but none of us could fine it. Can you tell me where the information is located in the society archives or how to find it? I am also interested in the school project information. Thanks!!!

|Ruth (McClelland) McComas||Nancy J. Varvel's mother|
You stated that you do not know the maiden name of Nancy's mother, Nancy A. I have that information. Her name is Nancy Anne Smalley. She married Harvey M. Case in 1846. I have more info.---would love to share. I also am researching the Case family of Adams Co., Ohio.

|cathy lindeman||Sharrods of Belmont Cemetery|
I have a few questions about your listings for the Sharrods. Most of the listings appear to be the children of James (1826-1873) and Mary E. Tate (1833-1902) Sharrod Shields. I'm wondering where your information came from and if you saw the actual stones. Since you list a section and Row, I thought you might have actually seen the markers or cemetery records.
1. Charles Sharrod: DOB 1844 DOD 1863. There is evidence that there was a Charles Sharrod DOB abt 1863. I'm wondering if you mistakenly listed the date of death as 1863 instead of the date of birth. He was in the 1870 and 1880 census records with the family. So a death date would be after 1880.
2. James E. I believe his date of birth was 1861 not 1823 unless this is a different James. he was in the 1870 and 1880 census with the family and certainly your DOD: 1881, would be possible.
3. Where there actually 3 Jennies. Certainly Jennis E. and Jennie V. were in the census records. Was there another stone for the Jennie (1847-1878)?
4. Were there actually two listings for Mary S.? Seems odd she would have two children dying just a year apart both named Mary.
Sorry for all the questions, but these date just don't match the data I've gathered and I'm trying to locate their 8 children. Any help is greatly appreciated.
