Bio

I live in Hutto, Texas. I have always loved walking through cemeteries looking at headstones and I became interested in my family's genealogy a few years ago when it was discovered that we are actually descended from somebody who came over on the Mayflower. That sparked something in me on what other mysteries there may be hidden that I don't know! I have my bachelor's degree in history but I am disabled, so I am officially retired from the Federal Government in September, 2023 when I turn 62. I have a lot of time to work on this. I love to read and I also write creative fiction.I am happy to transfer any memorials that are not in my direct line, etc. and please feel free to use any of my photographs. That is what I take them for--for your use.I am really enjoying driving around taking photographs--so much that I have been using up so much gas! I have crawled underneath barbed wire fences, battled fire ants, cemeteries with burrs where I spent an hour afterwards scraping them off of my hiking boots. I love the old cemeteries way out in the country. So far I have not faced off with any rattlesnakes and hope that it stays that way! I have had some curious cattle come and say hello to me! Each time is an adventure in some way.
