While researching my own family history, it occurred to me that many graves, once so carefully tended, are now unvisited and falling into disrepair. It also occurred to me that these final resting places are unknown to those descendants who are tracing their genealogy and now live so far away they can never visit in person. I am therefore putting together a collection of good quality photographs of memorials I come across so that the people they commemorate can be reconnected with those piecing together their family histories.
