Bio

I have always been interested in genealogy for as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have grown up near my grandmother, who happened to remember a lot of family names and stories. :) I credit my passion (or obsession to some...ha ha) as coming from her. I also happen to have a fondness for old cemeteries.

I have no problem transferring memorials to people who ask. I like to document whole cemeteries, giving me a lot of memorials that I have no relation to. So feel free to ask! :) On a side note, please do not email me asking for detailed info about cemeteries (like who is buried there, etc.). I do not have any specific information on a cemetery, other than what you see on this website. I find some on a map, and some are stumbled upon by just driving down the road.

I also do not mind if someone would like to copy my gravestone pictures for their family trees. It would be nice to receive a credit mention where ever you might post the pictures...but at the same time, it won't hurt my feelings if I don't. The pictures I take are for the "greater good" and I take them, hoping that someone out there will find them...maybe they might even help someone piece together part of their family tree that's been a mystery! :)

My family names: Carlisle, Rosan, Lively, Burton, Mathis, Ussery, Miles, Hicks, Lavender, Gustin, Trill, Offerman, Ritter, Wabbena, Sternberg, Tekstra, Doescher, Atkins/Adkins, Paton/Payton, Robinson, Bonham, Cleavenger, Barnett, Crawford, Fuller, Russell, Halfacre (just to name a few!)
