I am the daughter of Jesse Wilborn McLendon Jr. (though I was later adopted by another man named John Dennis Rogers of Ennis, TX and stayed with my birth mother..John Dennis Rogers was her husband at the time). My grandfather bore the same name (Jesse Wilborn McLendon) but was (of course SR.) My Grandmother was Katie Bell, whose mother was Mary v.Bell (though her grave says Mary G. Bell. I am interested in any and all leads to my family tree.
I love to help others research their own roots as well.
