Since 1990, I have researched my family's genealogy mainly to answer questions about my heritage. This research has led to research in other areas, usually about veterans of American wars, but also James Gang members and victims.

On Dad's side, I'm 3rd generation American born, no matter which branch is viewed. My father is half Slovenian (Smarker, Ferlich, & Oblak) and half German (Wolters, Yutton, Herman, & Armbruster).

On Mom's side (Fisher, Earley, Moss, Henson, Gordon, Taylor, Stewart, & Dougherty to name a few), my lineage goes back to colonial America allowing me to join a few societies of which I'm an active participant. These societies include the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (Department of Missouri, Westport Camp #64), the General Society of the War of 1812 (the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Missouri, Captain Daniel Morgan Boone Chapter), the Sons of the American Revolution (Missouri Society Sons of the American Revolution, Harry S. Truman Chapter), and the Native Sons and Daughters of Greater Kansas City.

I enjoy the tranquility of cemeteries and have even gone as far as restoring small cemeteries (Hollingsworth, for one). I have many more photographs than what has been shared. It would take me a few years to get them all posted, therefore my main focus is on family followed by veterans of the American Revolution and War of 1812 buried in Missouri, and occasional additions of those whose time it was to be added just because and for whatever reason.

There is a possibility that I could relinquish control of a memorial and transfer it to you if you have a legitimately good reason. All you have to do is ask and explain. Please use the edit tab of the memorial and provide your findagrave number.
