Bio

I was born during "the dirty thirties" to Arthur and Beatrice Webster Carey on the homestead that my grandfather had established in 1906 south of Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. I completed my education and later married Roberts Pearce in Foam Lake before moving with him to Watrous, Melville and finally Yorkton. Along the way two children, a poodle, guinea pig and several cats were added to the family. Once the children were in school I joined the management staff of a large corporate retailer and retired twenty years later. 1990 found me widowed, in a house too large and with children far away. So I became an Albertan, just like them.
