I was born at Lemoore Naval Air Station, CA while my father served 3 tours in the Viet Nam war. Both of my parents were raised in Arlington, VA. Once out of the Navy, my parents moved our family back to Arlington which is where I consider "home". I spent many days, weeks and summer time in Loudon County visiting my great-grandparents.

I moved to California to go to college. After graduation I married and had 4 kids. Once they were mostly graduated from high school - my husband and I moved back to Virginia.

We now live in Norfolk (the DC area is just too big for us now).

I am a huge history, cemetery and genealogy buff. Happy to contribute any way I can!
