|Ned Ligon||Address of Ligon Family Cemetry|
I am planning a trip to visit the grave of my 2nd great uncle, Blackman Ligon (1757-1831). For the purpose of mapquest/google earth, I am having difficulty finding the exact address of the Ligon Family Cemetery in Greenville, SC. Can you please help?

Hello Kelly, No One Requested the photo , I saw the cemetery in my passing and stopped and took some random pics. Im glad i was able to connect it with its memorial. I seen there was a picture with chalk on it. I thought you might want one that is in its natural state. You have a Blessed Day ...Kimberly

I only wrote CSA when I saw a metal marker that said that. I'm guessing they have been stolen since it has been quite a few years since I read them.

|Ellen Sutherland Butler||RE: Henry Miller|
I am trying to find my notes because I do usually draw out how the stones relate to one another. And you will notice that the photo I took is a single headstone surrounded by grass as the other larger (family) stone is in the area with many other headstones and surrounded by gravel or concrete and not grass.
I had a request for a Miller and when I find the requested stone I always take any other headstones with the same last name(s)and when I get home I look each one up on Find A Grave to see if they have already been added. If not I add them and hope someone looking on Find A Grave will recognize the name as a relative and then I can turn that memorial page over to them or update it with relatives if I'm given the names, etc.
So I would like to look into it before I remove the photo and page. But I also have come across duplicate entries that are obviously duplicates and wonder why one isn't taken down. So I will certainly check it out and get back with you.
|Ellen Sutherland Butler||Henry Miller|
Jane, I received your request to remove the memorial I set up for Henry Miller but before I do I want to go out and check why he has two headstones. And you will notice the dates are not the same. The one I found has the birth date as June 8, 1839 and death date of May 19, 1895. And is a much older looking headstone.
The other memorial for Henry Miller has birth date of June 8, 1940 and date of death as May 13, 1895
I have often found people with the same or similar names and dates that also match - which I have always found strange but possibly they are two different people. And these two Henry's are a year off on the birth and 6 days off on the death.
I will try and get out to the cemetery this week and get it sorted out for you.
Thanks, Ellen Butler
