Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Tonya Sapp Hames. I was born & raised in Laurens, SC & lived there for 25 years. I now live in Ladson, SC, with my husband, Stephen, and son, Christian.

I stumbled upon FAG by accident when I Googled my father, Robert E. Sapp, who passed away in 1991 & his name came up on this website. I have always been fascinated by genealogy. I have mostly been researching the following family names: Sapp, Nelson, Moore, Helms, Ball, Story, Belk, Kell, Woody, Fuller, Campbell, Richards, Myers, & Taylor; along with Hames, Crowder, Gregory, Kirkley, & West. However, along the way I have been doing other genealogy work as well. I am a FAG County Keeper emeritus for Dorchester Co., SC.

If you have any information that may help me with my research, please feel free to contact me. Also, when reviewing any of my work, if you see that I have made any error, no matter how large or small, please do not hesitate to contact me & let me know. I will ask, that when contacting me, you please do so in a respectful manner & allow for the corrections to be made. As FAG is NOT my full-time job, I do NOT work on my FAG information everyday, therefore, quick fix items will be taken care of in a more timely manner than other items which may take more research to complete.

McNeil Chapel Cemetery
I went out last month to photograph the gravesites that you requested, but could not find the cemetery. I asked a few local people and no one could help me. I will be happy to go back and take the photos if you can provide me with more information on where this cemetery is located.

This is the 2nd West View Cemetery that I went in. I can move all mine out but there are still some I didn't create that will have to be moved out. What a mess. At least it will get handled.

RE: WestView Cemetery
I just looked again and the pictures you took and the gps co-ordinates are for the one on S Live Oak. The one on Cooper Store and Hwy 6 need to be added. I thought it was the other way around. Did you create it? We need to add use to be Neville family cemetery so they now that it is two different ones.

RE: WestView Cemetery
There are two Westview Cemeteries which is totally confusing to me. I'm not sure if you created any of them but I went in at the beginning of the year and took some of the photos. I went to the one on S Live Oak and took them on the 17th and keep finding that someone added them to the one on Cooper Store and 6. I had to call the funeral home and happily the first call was to Russell and they had owned it and told me that it used to be a family cemetery and Susan sent me a copy of one of them's death certificate which gave me the Neville family Cemetery. Anyway they are all in the cemetery on cooper Store and I'll have to get it all straightened out when find a grave tells me how they want it handled. I figure add the address Google gave me and the co-ordinates. Then put it was originally known as the Neville family cemetery.
I've been sending street addresses when i add a picture of the cemetery and it's being ignored so I have to figure out how to get them to do that.
Another one messed up is the St James Cemeteries. There is St James on 52, St James Goose Creek, Greater St James and they are getting confused too.

My pleasure. I just read an article about precious Audrina and how her mother ended her life...such a sad and tragic story for this beautiful child♥

WestView Cemetery
I have come across a problem in the fact that West View in Berkeley Co is really two different cemeteries and half the people in the one that you took the picture for are in WestView on Live Oak. It has not been created and I'm waiting on a reply from find a grave to see how to handle it. The problem is the one you took the picture of is considered the politically incorrect Black Cemetery. The one on live Oak was formerly called the Neville or Neville Family Cemetery. Russell funeral home bought it and then sold it. My problem was how do you even know which ones they were buried in and she said two funeral homes bury them in the one on Live Oak and the other ones bury them on Cooper Store and you have to know by which funeral home buried them to know which one they are buried in. Makes no sense to me. Anyway we have to transfer about 100 graves to Live Oak when it gets created.
