My hobby is photography, and I have been photographing grave sites at Allouez Catholic Cemetery for nearly 50 years.|
Family and Green Bay history are two of my biggest passions. I have been involved in historic preservation for the past 40 years and have served as a board member of the Brown County Historical Society and board member of the Green Bay & DePere Antiquarian Society.
I fulfill photo requests for Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum. Photos are taken professionally with a NIKON camera (never with a cell phone camera). I always take the time to wait for the right lighting, remove debris from around the monument and take the very best photo possible. I do not tarnish the peaceful beauty or disturb the reverence of the grave site by adding dates, times or any other text to my photos, and you will never see my reflection in the monument or my shadow over the grave site or monument. Each photo is a work of art and labor of love done with as much respect for your family member as I would want for my own.
TRANSFERS, CORRECTIONS, LINK REQUESTS: Please make any transfer requests, corrections, or family linkage requests via the Edit tab on the memorial and include the profile number in your request. I will be happy to transfer management of a profile if I am not a relative of the deceased.
PLEASE NOTE: I generally photograph grave sites from May to November to capture the most visually pleasing photos for you and prefer not to photograph graves during the Winter months. Through the Winter, I will photograph interior and exterior mausoleum crypts.
THANK YOU to all who've kindly submitted edits or transfers.
And to those of you that understand it's not about taking the most photos or getting the most thank you notes, that there is so much more to taking a photo than "point and click" and have contacted me directly with your requests for grave site photos, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
Personal Peeve: Please, folks - it's not a tombstone, not a headstone, not a grave marker, it is a MEMORIAL MONUMENT.

I am not related to John and Mary (Mamie) Queoff. Mary, wife of Michael, was a cousin of my Grandfather. Her maiden name was Klarkowski.
I also for got to thank you for the photo of the area surrounding their memorials. Many times other family members will be close and I have found them because of pictures like this.
Your photos are always high quality. I know from times I have photographed some memorials, it is not always easy to avoid a shadow.

Thank you so much for these pictures. I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity. How can I repay you for your service?
Bernard (1908-1959) is the son of Joseph Schraufnagel Sr (51729228) and Sophia Weiglein (51729243). They had 14 children that I am aware of with Bernard being the last born.
It appears they are mostly buried in Dodge County, WI area.
There's a great picture on Joseph's memorial of the whole Schraufnagel clan with Bernard being the littlest.
Thanks for the pictures you will be taking. I look forward to seeing them.

How interesting. I have many Schraufnagels in my tree and I was working on them recently and added more. Very large family. Anyway, the only Bernard I have was born in 1907 but died in 1987. He was Arnold's brother.
I looked and looked, but could not find another Bernard. I also checked all my obituary links and could not find an obit for him or Helen... who is probably his wife?.
I will keep looking since they must be related if they are buried there. This interests me. Are they buried in the same plat or closeby?

|Patti Richards||RE: More info - Loretta Goska|
If you can, that would be much appreciated. My husband had a DNA match with a person related to Loretta.
|Patti Richards||RE: Blachinsky Family|
John had a married daughter Loretta Goska. Are there any people there with Goska name?
|Patti Richards||RE: BLachinsky, Michael and John|
Thank you so much for doing this so quickly! I'm researching my husband's side of the family, and Michael is his 2nd great grandfather, John, 2nd great uncle. We were in Green Bay this past summer, but didn't know his ancestors were there at the time! Were there any other Blachinsky relatives near by? There are several variations of the name- could be Blachinski, or Blashinsky.
Thanks again. Looks like a pretty area!
