To everyone whose photo I claimed the beginning of the month I wanted to post and apologize it has not been done at this time. My husband had to have emergency surgery to his carotid artery and we were also scheduled to move before this happened. We are moved now and my husband is healing and doing very well. I still have your list and the coordinates where everyone is buried and I will do my very best to take the photos before the end of the year. Thank you again for your understanding and patience.

I've been drawn to cemeteries for as long as I can remember, having spent a great deal of time among the old tombstones, trees and flowers visiting my father who passed away in 1968. The beauty and sorrow of a cemetery simply pulls me in.

A note on copyright. My photos are not copyrighted. Feel free to use my headstone photos for any genealogical purposes - They have been posted for your use.

I am available to help anyone who may have loved one buried in the Las Vegas, Nevada (Clark County) area just contact me and supply me their name, the cemetery they are located in and any other pertinent information I may need to locate your loved one.

When I add memorials for non-relatives, I try to be as complete and accurate as possible, and I do so with the same care and respect as I would for my own family member.

If you would like to take-over ownership of any memorials I've created for your family members just let me know. I'd be happy to transfer them to you. I would appreciate any information that I have added remain intact after transfer.

I will not transfer memorials of my family but I am always happy to make corrections and add links when asked.

If you suggest any corrections/links, please use the edit link on the memorial and include all pertinent information.

My Research is in the following:

McCormack: My Grandmother is Ruby Jean McCormack Pinegar (12/01/1913-10/13/2004). Her parents are Jene William McCormack (02/23/1892-03/08/1975) and Agnes Missouri Hollis (04/22/1892-09/01/1974)

Pinegar: My Grandfather is Leonard Gregory Pinegar (01/23/1913-02/16/1971). I know very little about my grandfather's side of the family. His parents are Thomas Ernest Pinegar (01/29/1872-03/17/1942) and Sarah Ethel Hutchins (12/14/1874-05/22/1943)

Riley and Gant: My Father is Clarence Mitchell Riley (05/21/1945-11/25/1968). My father's family line is pretty mysterious. My father died when I was 18 months old and I never spent any time with his parents that I can remember. His parent are Clarence Columbus Riley (06/08/1909-09/12/1950) and Lovie Estelle Gant (09/21/1913-11/25/2008).

Plot: Garden of Resurrection, space 576D, shown on memorial, in cemetery details. Thank you for going to cemetery when you are able and taking the photo of her grave marker. Please check if there are any related persons same family who may be lacking a memorial and if you would please take a photo of their stones while there, it would be very helpful.

RE: Steven Ptak
Belinda - on calling the cemetery I learned that Steven was cremated and there is no plaque at the cemetery. I assume the family has taken his ashes elsewhere. Thank you for offering to take a photo. I will remove my request

Belinda -- I do not have the grave location. If you want to wait until I call the cemetery, I can do that later today and post it. Elizabeth
