I caught the genealogy bug in the early 1990s and have been researching my family's lineage ever since. I am a self-taught genealogist with a background in Decision Sciences, a field dedicated to business analytics. I suppose my love of solving puzzles naturally led me to genealogy!
I believe that cemeteries are a WEALTH of information, so I travel to southern Alabama whenever I can simply to locate and inventory cemeteries. This is especially true regarding older plots that have been long forgotten. I try to perform full transcriptions with headstone photos whenever possible, time permitting.
Current family lines being researched include Dreadin, Black, Vickrey, Wiggins, Taylor, and Seale on my maternal grandfather's side. My maternal grandmother's lineage includes Kline, Knapp, Hackenberg, Otto, Bauersachs/Bowersox, Bolender, and Field.

Samuel & Maggie Kline Thank you SO MUCH for all the information. I worked two straight days gathering in all the info and pictures you sent. I was so excited! Sorry for the delay in sending you my thanks but my computer was acting up for a few days - probably due to the fact of the many hours I had it on going through all the info you sent me. Thank you again Karen, this means a lot to me. My grandpa (Harry Leroy Kline) was a very quiet man and didn't do a lot of talking. As a kid I followed him around because he was the sort of guy who loved being outdoors. He was a crane operator by profession and help build the Illinois-Michigan Canal systems. He was an avid gardener and loved watching boxing. He was a good grandpa. I feel like I know more of the family now due to your helpfulness. Again thank you! Cousin, Donna Priest
Harry LeRoy Kline Harry Leroy Kline born: 2/5/1889 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska to Samuel and Maggie Kline. My grandpa, Harry Kline died on 1/21/1961. He had 3 brothers: Earl Richard Kline, Myron Eugene Kline, and Orville Oliver Kline and five sisters: Edna Hazel Kline, Mabel Fern Kline, Florence Irene Kline, Francis Fay Kline and Vera Evelyn Kline. Grandpa had 4 children of his own when he married my grandmother, Zora Leona. They were Dorothy, Bernice, Regina and one son, James. I've had no luck getting any information on family except for great grandpa, Sam Kline. I don't have much on Maggie at all. Would you be able to help me out on this. I would greatly appreciate any info you might have. Thank you! firstname.lastname@example.org
