This is something that I enjoy doing and the "Personel Satisfaction Take Home Pay" is fabulous.|
People are Petty
That being said, if I have a picture of a headstone that you would like to use for your tree, Please feel free to do so. Unlike smug self righteous individuals who have no idea of the spirit of helping people, I have driven thousands of miles & roamed through secluded burial grounds to help complete strangers find lost love ones. I don't do it for recognition or remuneration.
So if I can help you, I most certainly will. And if you become offended if I post Bio Info or picture (which has happened) Let me know & I will remove it. I'll also transfer memorials if they are not related to me, unlike others on here who say they won't.
My family names of interest are: Burrow, Burough, Pearce, Marler, Barnes, Cantrell, Hubbard, Meade and Boggs,

|john prewett||Are you related to me?|
Dear Mr. Burroughs,
My name is John Prewett. I was born Johnny Francis Bean. My father was Johnny Francis (Frank) Bean. His mother was Elizabeth Jordan.
I recently received my dad's photo and his death certificate. It indicated that he had a son, who would be my half-brother. His name is James Bean.
My mother did not tell me that I was adopted by my step-dad. I only learned about my real dad last night when my cousin sent me his picture.
I am trying to find my relatives. I was not told I was adopted until I was 63 years old. I have been searching ever since. I am 68 years old now.
If you know anything about my family, please let me know. If not, please let me know that too.
I appreciate what you do and I was very happy to find the picture of my grandmother on this site.
Added the photos for both Stinger and also added the son James A Stinger.
Howard, thanks for the transfer!

While visiting the State of Virginia, I visited the Virginia War Memorial and posted a Photograph of Ralph H. Hubbard name on his memorial. Would you please rearrange the photographs on his memorial and put mine on the bottom. I thought it would be nice to have this photograph of his name listed on the memorial.

Mr. Burough, I'm not looking for anyone on your list, I just happened to come on it by accident and read your message. Thank you so much for the work you have done. I am in the process now of trying to find the graves and headstones of my ancestors, I had no idea of what a daunting task this could be. The old cemeteries are so small and are located in some deep woods and out of the way places that they are not easy to find; and unless a person does it himself he cannot understand this. So I applaud you your determination and faithfulness in this hugh undertaking you have done to help so many people. I hope some of them are appreciative of your work, I know I am. Thank you.

Hello. I noticed that you had listed a gravesite for Daniel S. Stone. I am trying to trace my great grandmother's husband. All I know is that his name was Dan Stone and he once worked as a ticket agent for the Bridge to Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, Fl. I was wondering if this is the same person. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Good to hear from you - I am not related to either the Keener or Marler tribes. My lines in Ottawa Co are Allisons, Kleins, Disneys. I have lived in KY for nearly 30 years, but the closest relatives in the region are in WV.

Howard my abject apologies. I just found your transfer request in an old FAgrave folder and am appalled I never completed the request. I have transferred he and his wife and if there are others in your tribe I will happily transfer them as well.

It's been years since you provided this information to me for which I thank you so much.
I am now retired and hope to get up there someday. Other members of the family were Emaline Sibley Dawson his wife.
Anne Dawson Frasier his daughter
Jean Dawson his daughter. I think her married last name started with a S.
William Dawson Jr. and Clifford Dawson
Lois Dawson is buried in Eustis Florida and I have my grandmother's ashes Elizabeth Dawson Randall

Thank you for writing, but I was the original author that you wrote. Would you be so kind to send a note to the duplicator telling them they duplicated me...many thanks
